The activity will be based on a sortof recycling fiesta, for 2 or 3 days. The idea is to setup a workshop in an area in Caracas where people can bring old computers or parts for recycling on site. Venezuelan government would provide computer parts and hardware required. All revived computers will be setup with a free software environment.

Music production with Linux
Learn how to produce music with Free Software. Djamin sessions could be recorded and streamed.

  • ALSA stands for Advanced Linux Sound Architecture. Most Linux distributions are now using it by default.
  • Jackd is a low latency audio server. More and more applications are using it. With jack, audio routing and synchronisation are made easy. Qjackctl is really useful when you have to deal with jackd.
